The Tycoon's Virgin
Prim head-teacher of a village school gets drunk from what she thought was "fruit punch" while waiting for company owner to show up in his hotel suite, where she was let in uninvited with help from her cousin. She was there to convince him not to close down the factory, which employs most of the parents of the kids that attend her school. In her drunken state, she falls asleep on the bed & then later thought she was dreaming of making love to man she saw at the hotel foyer earlier, whom she felt such strongly attraction for. When morning came, heroine finds out she actually made love with Hero. Hero thought she was a pawn sent by the factory owner's son to pressure him to not buy the factory but he gave in to her b/c he also felt powerfully attracted to her when he 1st saw her. Both later realize that they've misjudged each other & try to set things right without confessing their love for each other b/c they both think it's only 1-side.Jordan's writing kept my interest, even though it didn't have a major Big Misunderstanding. The r/s problems Hero & heroine have were mostly from misinterpreting each other or the situation they were in. It doesn't go unchallenged very long. When evidence clarifies the truth, hero & heroine readily accept their mistakes & amend their view of each other. Hero & heroine are nice people who believe & didn't resist love when it came. This was not an angsty book. It was a pleasant & cute romance. Sexual chemistry & love scenes were passionate but not very detailed.
