Sin
22yo virgin college student heroine has worked as a waitress at a strip club owned by enigmatic mid-30s Hero for a month now. She now wants to work as a dancer & Hero wants to help her get in touch with her sexuality to be an effective pole dancer. Their training sessions turn into heated sexual exchanges, pushing controlled Hero to break his own rules. Heroine knows he doesn’t do commitments but is willing for him to become her first lover. How does their sexual intimacy change their working relationship? This was a steamy read with lots of explicit sex details. Yet it was still romantic. We get alternating POVs(point of views) from Hero & heroine. This worked to give us a good feel of their thoughts & emotions. We feel their increasing connection with each other as well as their doubts about where their relationship is heading. Hero is a controlling alpha male with dominant sexual preferences. We have a general idea of his negative history with women contributed to his dominating side. I think for a fairly short book it was a good choice by author to skip the details of it. I liked that much of this book focuses on the romance (especially the sexual side) of the main characters. Hero’s change from an indifferent player to a possessive & caring lover was believable. Heroine had a hold of him from the very beginning that he couldn’t comprehend. It was their time together that truly hooked him into her, as he got to see her character.
Recommended. Some BDSM & back-door action.
