Entangled

Entangled - Eileen Wilks Artist heroine comes back to hometown to do the artwork for Hero's family's new wine. She expects Hero to be cold & distant towards her b/c of how she left him 11 yrs ago but was surprised at his warm reception, Hero is open about his desire to pursue his attraction towards her & expects their affair to be temporary, given heroine's flightiness. But heroine has also made some changes & knows she has an uphill climb towards convincing hero about a more permanent r/s.

This book was nothing too earth shattering. Actually it didn't even jiggle my world. This romance was lukewarm. Hero & heroine were a bit too casual with each other for my liking. I was expecting some angst or at least some drama, given that they had a prior love affair 11 yrs ago which ended with heroine leaving. But no. Her reason for leaving was nothing major. They didn't have any big conflicts or other people involved. She just believed they didn't suit each other that well..and didn't think to tell hero about it. She just up & left him. And hero was hurt by this but not overly so. Sexual chemistry & love scenes were ok. I skipped a lot of the parts about with other characters & the wine business since they weren't too interesting to me either.

Read if you just want a standard romance story.
